Version 1.4.8 of Lifeline is now available and includes an improved planning and review panel, as well as an overheat warning when you stay in a session for longer than 100 minutes.

Version 1.4.8 of Lifeline is now available. We've merged the daily info and the daily review panels. They're now accessible—with some UI tweaks as well—through the tray icon menu under "Review activities and stats." You'll now also start to get nudged and receive an "overheat warning" when you work for more than 90 minutes in a row. Plus, we've hidden Pro features for new users who haven't earned their first tomato yet, fixed bugs, and made some other tweaks.

Here are the exact updates:

  • Changed the layout of the editor and merged it with the Daily info panel.
  • Added an overheat warning when you go beyond 100 minutes in one session.
  • We've hidden Pro features for new users until they earn their first tomato.
  • Fixed a problem with the "Show Lifeline only on mouse-over" option that muted all notifications and dialogs for some users.
  • Started tracking the usage of the "Start custom session length >" menu item for future product development decisions.
  • Expanded the analytics we track in the onboarding funnel
  • Fixed a bug with the auto-launcher dialogue.
  • Fixed a big with a mysterious white marker sometimes appearing on Lifeline for certain users.

The update should arrive automatically but you can also update manually by choosing "Check for Updates..." from the taskbar dropdown menu.

Don't have Lifeline yet? Head over to the macOS App Store and give it a try right now.
